About the Exhibit

Growing Up on Long Island is the focus of a joint project between the Long Island Museum and the Middle Country Public Library. The project is designed to develop programs and facilitate community discussions on the experience of aging in America. This project is a collaboration between Long Island Museum and Middle Country Public Library and is supported in part by Age in America through the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
